SYPA.

Today was busy, hell busy.

Went to school with my long sleeves, thinking that there was council photo taking today, but guess what? It's postponed to Wednesday, damn. So i have to walked around with the long sleeves and black leather shoes around school and town this faithful day.

School ended early today with no Mr James lesson cause he was taking the other classes for English Oral Examination in the afternoon, so we had biology lesson instead. Got back my Biology test results along with Mr Azman's "stare", kinda weird indeed. Really happy with it and my physics test marks i got earlier in the morning. MYE is just next week, can't wait to get done over it.

So enough of classes, after bio, stayed back for a while to complete my chinese compostion writing, 4 pages sia, didn't know i could write that much :p Left school from Habourfront at 3.30pm to meet up with Chris. Reached Habourfront at 4.20pm and had to wait around minutes for that guy. After that, we went to SAFRA MT FABER to hand up our shots for the SYPA (Singapore Young Photographer Award). Just trying my luck haha, it would be great if i got anything from it :P

After that, we had some talk cock session at the Ya Kun Toast shop next to the reception counter. Real intereting, he demoed some skills on Photoshop and it was interesting yet complicating, haha.

From there, we went home. End of storey. Had English tuition in the night, and i'm feeling damn tired to do anything right now. All i can think of is just to sleeeeep. :)

Founder's Day 2008.

Happy, real happy.

Just bought my Canon EOS 450D with the 50mm f1.8 Prime Lens at MS Colour yesterday. School ended early yesterday, just half an hour earlier but it's was good enough for me, haha. When school ended, i met up with Matthew and we went to MS Colour which is in Ang Mo Kio and got my camera from there. Real happy, no more deprive-ness from Nikon :p After that, i went to Habourfront alone to collect the free gifts Canon gave ( 4GB Memory Card, books etc etc). Took so long to get there, it seemed like an endless journey on the bus. It was so long till i managed to read 10 chapters of a book by Dan Brown while on the bus. Came back home by MRT which was much faster. Thank god. In the night, just waited for my battery to charged.

It's Founder's Day today and the fellow ventures and I joined in the scouts contigent for the parade. It was really great, everyone was great. Well done guys ! After the parade, Matt and I took some level shots of the Scouts.

It's Been 2 Weeks.

Time passes fast, really fast.

It's been 2 weeks since VLC and the deadline for the VLC project (Campfire) is drawing nearer and nothing's done yet.

Monday was AWESOME. School ended around 12pm and then half of the school went down to Toa Payoh Sports Hall to cheer our own badminton team on. What can i say, we just simply rock the whole stadium down. We won sports school like 4-0 ? Can't believe it either.

Founder's Day is just 2 days time and on tuesday and wednesday, rehearsals were being held. March here, march there and that's all. The best part is, quoting from a "RELIABLE" source, scouts are going to be the Guard of Honour next year if we achieve some requirements that is.

Today's half day and i spend most of the day dealing off my camera equipment and tuition, chinese in the afternoon and physics in the night. It really sucks sitting down in a confined space and just keep on hearing words that just keep on repeating. Gosh, thinknig about it makes me feel damn tired already lar.

On a higher note, tomorrow's gonna be great, i'm going down to get my Canon EOS 450d !

Back From Camp. Gosh, I'm Getting OLD.

Just came back from Venture Leadership Camp last night after having my long-sought-after Prawn Mee and Peppermint Bubble Tea. Haha.

Camp was really awesome. No push-ups but loads of strainous activities - Rock Climbing, Tug of War, Raft Building, Campfire, sleeping at 2am and waking up at 6am etc in 24 hours can make anyone shagged. My muscles are currently aching and guess what ! I didn't go to school today!

Everyone it's legal. My fellow ventures and I have the permission, so don't come and kao bei! :p

Today was real good. Really happy. WOKE UP at 8am, i think you guys woke up at 6 plus to go to school ? Haha :p Managed to do finish my amaths, geog and physics homework pile that i didn't managed to complete. HAPPY. After that, went to MS Colour to check out Canon's new DSLR - Canon EOS 450D/ REBEL XSI / KISS X2, whatever you wanna call it, but it's god damn awesome. Tried it out with the 50mm f1.4 lens, cause they went out of stock on the 50mm f1.8 and using my SD card. God, it just rock. Took some pictures, but my photoshop can't seem to open the files! So, I NEED PHOTOSHOP CS3 then, haha.

Came back, ate fried rice with luncheon meat that mum cooked for me. It gave me back memories of the times that i used to have it every monday after coming back from Primary School at 1pm. Oh, i so wanna be p1 again, hah.

Studied Physics and Bio in the afternoon causes the 2 killers are coming and laying their knives in my head on Wednesday. HUAT ARH.

My bones and muscles are currently aching. Got to stop typing already :p Bye :)

Running Out Of Time.

It's 10.30pm already. Late.

Saturday and Sunday were the same old stuff.

On Monday, school started again with all the levels coming back from their various camps. They looked real tired and tanned too, hope that they got a good rest.

Had tests too, A Maths on Monday and E Maths today.

Yesterday was sort of a disappointment. We had our Nokia School Invasion Tour by some local artists. It was an acoustic setup actually, awesome performance but a dead crowd, not very enthu. You can even hear the disappointment in the voices of the artists when they talk due to the weak response from us as a school. On top of that, there were some discipline matters that are settled in the hall after the performance while the Nokia crew were still there. I guess what an impression we made of us on them ?

Anyway, it's over. By the way i took some shots of the singers, but they are just headshots anyway. Check them out when your're free then.

Saturday and Sunday were real busy. Hell yeah!

Saturday was filled with the VLC lectures, finally felt like a venture with a whole load of new responsibilties and tasks to accomplish. VLC camp is coming up in 2 weeks time and the timetable looks real fun! Can't wait :p

Rushing Sunday. Woke up around 8am, didn't had much time for myself till i have to see the dentist for my braces. I just got an upgrade, rubberbands. OMFG, it hurts so much till i almost cried while trying to removed a stucked rubberband within my braces on Monday morning. After that, i went to Physicks tuition, nothing much over there. In the afternoon, was the usual afternoon stuff, swimming yeah. At around 7.30pm, Matt and I just went to the hill near Bishan swimming complext to shoot. Long exposures baby, going to upload soon. So keep updated!

Monday was nothing much, nothing to talk about. Hehe.

Supposed to have archery today. Was so excited ! But due to the "beautiful" weather, it was postponed. Damn, but ended school early! Hehe, managed to find some time to complete what i'm suppose to do - Campfire Programme Sheet and my class T-Shirt design ! Took an hour each to complete, now my back aches. Haha.

Really hope you guys like the design, by the way comments and critics are welcomed. Hope to hear some response from you guys :)
